Foodie Who?
Foodie Claire... I am not quite sure when I became so obsessed with food but at some point I started to appreciate the quality of a good cooked meal.
My roots are Caribbean but I am working up to gratuitous attractive Caribbean food that so many restaurants are lacking.
This blog encompasses the food I cook and the places I eat. My favourite cuisine is Italian. A year or so ago I would have been fairly confident that you wouldn't find me eating Japanese or Mexican. As you can see from my posts I'm conquering Mexican (little by little). I am a fan now of sushi and sashimi and am enjoying the amazing Japanese supermarkets in Soho.
I hate risotto and think it's pointless. Prove me wrong and tell me where I can find a nice one.

Great blog!!
Hi Claire
I hope you don’t mind me getting in touch.
I work with Westfield Stratford City shopping centre and we are holding an exciting food event for food bloggers on Wednesday 1st Feb: a free carribean cookery workshop. I wondered if it may be of interest to you for your blog…
We would love for you to attend (if you are free)!
Please do get in contact today should you be interested?
Kind regards,
Megan

Hello Claire,
I am Noa Berger, VizEat’s Community Manager (http://bit.ly/Wf1vx3). We connect locals and travellers who’d like to discover a new culture with hosts who welcome them at their home around a meal.
Using VizEat is very easy and straightforward: hosts post their meal (this could also be an aperitif, brunch, wine & cheese, etc.) select a date & price, choose their guests and then share an authentic moment around a home cooked meal!
I love your blog and so would be delighted to discuss a potential partnership. There are numerous mutually beneficial opportunities that we can present to you.
Would you be available for a 10 minute chat so that I can give you more details about the partnership and what we are proposing?
We look forward to welcoming you on board!
Kind regards,
Noa Berger

Thank you so much for your interest Noa. I need to get my friends into my home to enjoy my food before I start inviting food discovery strangers – no offence 😉
Good luck getting partners on board.

Thanks for looking in. Come again, stay a while and have a drink. I look forward to a blogging journey with you. Steve…
Hi Claire,
I hope you don’t me getting in touch.
I am writing to you regarding our new food concept: HomeFood. We are just starting up and would love to engage with you to get your input and try our food.
HomeFood is a platform where experienced amateur cooks, with a specialty in a certain cuisine, can cook from home and sell their dishes online. Imagine the Italian mom selling her lobster tagliolini which is made from scratch following her family recipe.
As such, HomeFood provide consumers with the opportunity for a great authentic home-cooked meal conveniently delivered to their home.
We have our first test next week and would love to engage with you before.
Best regards
Jacob

… and we are starting with authentic Italian food
Sounds like a great idea and wish you the best of luck, however I’m afraid I don’t have time to invest into this project currently, as I have just moved house and that is my project at the moment. Claire
